15.1-2 hands and about 1100 pounds. Nice head and built solid. Good feet and bone. Excellent kids/husbands horse. 4D horse at super shows, 2d-3d local. Does know the pole pattern but we have ran her on them once in 4 years.
Jazzy runs better in bigger pens, this is where she has clocking in the 2D or wins the 3D. In a small indoor pen she will run in 3D to 4D depening on how much she is hustled. Great mover would make exceptional all around 4H mare pleasure and speed
This mare was bought for my daughter their 10 yr old year. My daughter was just stepping up from a pony and I wanted something safe that would runs as slow as was asked, but have the potential for later. "jazzy" was great for my daughter because she could be trail rode or run and stayed calm. This mare has been hauled all over ie: Great Lakes NBHA, NBHA Youth World 2011 & 2012, OK and is great on the road. Trail rode in the OK mountains for my husband. Sure footed and easy to ride.
My daughter has moved on to a faster mare and is dedicating time to that mare only. So Jazzy is hanging out on the back burner. She is currently in shape and being run, here and there. SHE WILL BE AT NBHA YOUTH WORLD DRAW #552
There are no holes in this mare that we have not found. She has been worked hard and long by us, hauled all over, trail rode thru mudd, water, mountain side, rock, creeks and rivers. She is pretty honest and has a good personality. My 4yr old son has been trotting her on the pattern and working her in the arena. She is quiet and responds to request quickly. Not one to run off.
She has only a few quirks:
-she can some times move around when shod
-if she is run alot in an indoor pen will sull up at gate
- is bottom of herd
