Super nice young gelding, I bred, raised, and trained him. Broke his sire as a two yr old before he made a successful show horse in the cutting pen, his mother was a AA race mare before becoming a 1D barrel/20 sec. pole horse. She is still the grittiest mare I've ever ridden. "Boones" is the perfect combination of the two... Incredibly sensitive, quick footed, and tons of heart. I broke him at two and on the first ride he was dragging his butt to stop. Low headed by choice and literally floats around the arena. This colt has all the buttons... was started similar to a cutter. Super light in his sides and mouth, has never had anything tougher than a chain mouth tender touch with a leather curb. Still rides like a cadillac in the same bosal I broke him in. He's not for a kid or novice, too quick and sensitive. Was started on the pattern in June of 2012... been hauled and exibitioned as well as taken to countless jackpot ropings. He's progressed faster than I'd like, LOVES TO TURN! He's a month of hauling away from entering novice classes. This gelding is for someone looking to compete at the top, and that can RIDE. No trades, kids, or tire kickers please. Horse is in west tx but can be around Central Tx during Thanksgiving week to be tried.
