Description:
Mango is very broke--knows basic dressage, jumps to 12", trail rides, and has worked cattle and pasture roped. He has a naturally hard rear end stop, just say Whoa and sit. I think he may have potential as an all around horse for junior high or high school rodeo; a 14 year old rode him recently and he worked super for her.
I trained him in 2011, and started entering him last spring. I have made maybe 10-12 competition runs on him. He has placed in the 4D several times and won a Novice Horse class. He has a lot of speed and ability, but is very much a push style horse that needs an aggressive rider to get the speed. He doesn't hit barrels at all, but he's happy just easing through if you don't ask him to run.
No buck, rear, or run-off, no alley way issues. His ground manners are impeccable, a real pleasure to be around, he also loads and hauls well. Very smooth, easy to ride gaits. No tie down needed and he will ride in anything you put on his head.
If you want a pretty, well broke, fun horse that will go slow and smooth, or are looking for something ready to go on, this is your horse. All calls, texts, or emails welcome!!
