Big, stout built filly. Heavy bones, correct confirmation, great personality, very easy to get along with. 15.2 but will probably be 15.3 Both her sire & dam were 1D - rodeo horses. Taz has all the potential to make a rodeo mount. Very athletic, super fast, nice smooth long stride, but can really gather up. Has been started the right way. You cant find many colts with a foundation like this. This young filly has a lot of buttons & cues to her already, she is not just the old cowboy broke style. If you know horsemanship & ride with your legs, hands,& seat then you will love the way she rides. You dont have to pull on her, just put a calf in her & she will move over, tip your finger & she will give you her nose.Super laid back. Does well with time off, you dont have to ride her everyday. Soft mouth, flexes both sides very nice, works off of your legs. You can pick up her shoulder & move her ribs over. Pivots, side passes, knows her leads. Loping nice circles, moves in & out off of your rein or leg. Excellent stop. Very smooth trot & lope. Has a big stride. Cruising the pattern very well. Knows her leads in the pattern. Stays behind your hands in the turns & will let you handle her in the turn. Working off her hind end very well. She is making a really nice run at the house right now. Just started entering her up & has done awesome. Ran her this weekend at a show in about 8 inches of deep sticky mud. She handled it like a pro. After you cruise her she will drop her head & walk back through the pattern. I have done lots of slow work on this filly, she is ready to go & start entering up. She is a very easy mare to ride, gets along well with anyone. If you mess up a cue she doesn't get mad or fussy. She just tries to figure you out. Very pleasing & has a good work ethic. Is currently being hauled until sold. Handles it well, not spooky, hunts her barrels when she comes in, & acts like a princess the whole day. Will stand tied to trailer all day. No sillyness. She is just a 5 yr old but has the sense of a 10 yr old. Going to be super smooth to run when shes finished, not choppy or rough. Excellent ground manners, no bad issues. Great personality, not a grouchy mare. This filly is bred outstanding, a granddaughter of the great On The Money Red & a granddaughter of the great Oklahoma Fuel. She has a lot of sense, not going to be a hot personality. Taz has the potential to be a big time barrel horse & its not going to take a long time to get her there. NO TRADES! Price will continue to go up as her training does. Vet checks welcomed at buyers expense. Others available. Best to reach me by cell phone 903-717-1778 I don't check my emails.
