Description:
We bought Latigo directly from the Monnen Ranch in Hazel, SD, as a yearling. He has produced nothing but buckskins w/the exception of 1 black & 2 bays to my knowledge, & none have so much as a white hair, no matter the chrome the mare has. He is sound, sane, been hauled a lot, ponies colts, started heeling, & super to handle. In 8 yrs hes never needed shoes. Huge mane & tail that he passes on. Lots if his offspring from foals to using horses available to see. His foals ate huge, vet says he is so linebred that the height doesn't reappear until you outcross him. He is by the late, great Ciderwood, & out of Adorns Luckyette(Wayward Ike x dtr of Steve Tucker. Easy to catch, zero vices. Just kept back too many of his daughters. New pics to come soon. |
