Janet Stover – BHW  Barrel Racer of the Month

Janet Stover is our Barrel Racer of the Month.

  A winning horse, a WPRA world championship –how about sitting # 1 in this year’s current standings?  What would your wish be if you could have anything in the barrel racing world you wanted?  Janet has reached these goals and more.   Janet’s been to the top of her sport – a former World Champion – she has reached the highest echelon that barrel racing has to offer.   But there's a price to pay.

“To become a world champion you have to put yourself through a lot of hard work and turmoil, trials and errors.  Your family and friends will think you’ve forgotten them”, she told me. 

  Janet was chosen as our first BHW Barrel racer of the month, not only for her victories in the arena but for the willingness and desire to give her time to others in need.  She loves working with kids in her barrel clinics.  She has a dream of  owning her own facility where kids  could learn, not only barrel techniques, but spend time in a camp atmosphere – where her sharing would include both life skills and the spiritual tools she finds so rewarding in her own life.

 A gift of fifty dollars will be send to the charity of your choice on behalf of you.

Additional stuff you might want to know about Janet:

• Sings in her church choir
• Considers Bo her favorite horse of all time.
• Works out with weights at least 3 times a week and excercises 45 minutes day.
