2006 American Royal

This year's American Royal and PRCA rodeo had a number of professional barrel racers sitting on the bubble for the end of year scramble to make the national finals rodeo. Recent Barrel Horse World guest, Shali Lord posted on our site about this very topic before heading to Kansas City hoping for good results. We followed her there and were lucky enough to be with her shortly after her final run Saturday night. The pictures tell the story, along with others who competed in Kansas City.
